Aim
|
· To
assist migrant Muslim women especially new arrivals through Refugee and
Humanitarian Visas with settlement issues such as housing, education,
language, etc.

· To advocate needs and issues on behalf of
clients

· To
inform and assist clients with accessing services provided by
government and non-government sectors
|

· To provide referral services
|

· To
help bridging the gap between service providers and Muslim clients by
providing cultural awareness information sessions to service providers,
schools, hospitals etc.

Since the 1st funding year, a part-time Welfare officer employed by
MWSC has carried out this service. From 20 hours of service per week,
this service has now increased to 24 hours per week.
