In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful and Compassionate. May His abundant blessing and most perfect of peace be on His Beloved Prophet, the best of creation, and his family, companions and followers.
According to the majority of the scholars of the Hanafi school, it is permitted to continue breastfeeding until two and a half years (i.e. 30 months), though the recommendation to breastfeed ends at two years. [Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar 2.403, Bulaq ed, quoting al-Muhit via Quhustani’s Jami` al-Rumuz]
It would be best to wean her gradually, to ensure that you will be able to comfortably stop by 30 months. Consult with other mothers and relevant literature on how to do so most effectively.
And Allah alone gives success.
